Do research for HLS or HBS professors

A number of HLS professors focus on corporate law and business issues, and some HBS professors focus on the legal aspects of business. Doing research for a professor can be a great way to get deeper into issues that interest you, and to craft a unique learning experience, in addition to building strong personal relationships. To investigate research opportunities, keep an eye on the MyHLS Administrative Announcements (professors seeking assistance sometimes advertise there), see the websites for specific research programs, research faculty backgrounds in the faculty directories, and contact directly the professors whose work interests you most. Current HALB members can also help point you to good professors to work with for a given topical field – ask around.
